Near identical gameplay, but on a new map with a different story. Rogue ain't bad, but it's built on top of Black Flag. I'd replace Rogue with AC3 or the Ezio Collection or something, personally.
The Ezio collection is a good buy, coming with AC2, and it's two direct sequels, Brotherhood and Revelations. Plus people seem to like the main character, Ezio. The one that still feels the most like a standard AC game, but way better than AC1. It's obviously the first in the series, and it plays like it.ĪC2 tends to be the popular game of the series. It's repetitive and missing a lot of features that made later games enjoyable. I still load up Black Flag and Syndicate from time to time just to dick around.ĪC1 I'd say is the worst in the series. My personal favorites have been Black Flag, Syndicate, and Odyssey. Even the sidescrolling Chronicles games are good in their own right.
